The Director is a powerful microphone that plugs easily into standard loop amplifiers to enhance sound level and quality received by wearers of Telecoil-equipped hearing instruments within the loop's range.
The Director filters out unwanted background noise up to 30 db, and includes Zoom and Wide settings to focus on desired sounds near or up to 25 metres away. The Zoom setting focuses on sounds to the front of the microphone, greatly reducing surrounding sounds. The Wide setting picks up surrounding, peripheral sounds.

The Director can be placed in a raised position on a nearby surface using the convenient fold-out stand, or held in the speaker's hand and pointed at the sound source. The unit includes a 4 metre cable, allowing speakers the freedom to move around when presenting. It requires no recharging, since it is powered directly by the loop amplifier.
